The Model United Nations is typically a high school club in which students adopt the role of United Nations Delegates and serve on United Nations Committees to compete in an annual conference at Lehigh University in March. The protocol, guidelines and committees of the actual United Nations govern the Conference and students present their resolutions at then debate their effectiveness. As its host, Easton students have the responsibility to govern committees and act as the representative body of the United Nations including the Secretary and Undersecretary Generals. The day of the conference is filled with committee meetings where students engage in solving world issues as they present and debate written resolutions as United Nations Delegates. For their efforts, students can be recognized as Best Delegate or runner-up, as well as having the Best Resolution or runner up. These accolades are tallied and the school with the highest number of delegates recognized is considered the winner. That school is then offered a trip to the United Nations accompanied by Dr. Bill Hunter, Lehigh University liaison to the United Nations.

The winners of each division as well as one “wild card” team compete in the post-season for the EPC18 Championship. The season is from mid-October through mid-December.
